Dov Maierovitz

Dov has been practicing almost exclusively in the area of Canadian immigration law since graduating from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, in 2008. During that time, he has skillfully worked on every type of immigration file imaginable and has developed a high level of expertise in all areas of immigration law. He has a roster of clientele from around the world that allows him to keep abreast of world events and stay ahead of the coming immigration trends.

He frequently advises Canadian businesses with respect to the recruitment of foreign talent and has assisted countless skilled workers to immigrate to Canada through both provincial and federal programs.

Dov has spent countless hours inside the courtroom advocating on behalf of his clients. He regularly appears at the Federal Court where he successfully overturns unfair immigration decisions and has an excellent track record at preventing deportations. Dov similarly feels at home conducting detention reviews and admissibility hearings at the Immigration Division, sponsorship, residency obligation and criminality appeals at the Immigration Appeal Division, and has personally attended over 1,000 refugee claims at the Refugee Protection Division.
